Canoeing activity in Herrera de Pisuerga

At first glance it looks like a simple canoe ride. But traveling along this Canal brings you closer to the history of our territory, to understand the needs of previous peoples when there were no other means of transportation. And it allows you to enjoy the water in dry land, to listen to nature in its splendor and, above all, to refresh yourself.

Travel to Herrera de Pisuerga, about 40 minutes away from Frómista, and tour the Canal de Castilla by water, where it coincides with the Pisuerga River and takes its waters. You can enjoy the surrounding nature, shady wooded areas, a reproduction of an old barge, a lock that is still in operation and a dam that turns an area of water into reflections of the surrounding trees.
